In our interview with Ryan Gosling, he shared a hilarious behind-the-scenes story about discussing whether Barbie’s Ken would need to be treated as another personality in the same universe as his characters in Drive and Blade Runner 2049.
Gosling joked that he and his team were seriously debating if Ken was “yet another version” of himself — like a pastel twist in a lineup of brooding existential men. He compared the trio of roles to Neapolitan ice cream — each one distinct in flavor but part of the same wild tub of identity.
